InCoRE - A new ISES Educational Initiative

This session will introduce InCoRE, a  new educational initiative by ISES.  InCoRE is a new approach to enhance International Cooperation in Higher Education on Renewable Energies, in particular between developing and developed countries. The program will, among other things, offer support and co-supervision for students in the field of renewable energy by international professors and other specialists.

Speakers

Klaus Vajen

Prof. Dr. Klaus Vajen is President of ISES since 2020. He is Director of the Institute of Thermal Engineering at the University of Kassel, Germany, where he holds the Chair of Solar- and Systems Engineering, and he is furthermore a Distinguished Professor of the Technical University of Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek. He holds a Ph.D. in applied physics and is (co-)author of 300+ publications about (solar) thermal engineering, university education, and energy policy.

Jennifer McIntosh - Moderator

Jennifer is the ISES Executive Secretary and heads the ISES HQ in Freiburg, Germany since 2011.
