Thermal Energy Storage - Key Element for 100% Renewables

Prof. Dr. Jörg Worlitschek received his PhD at the Institute of Process Engineering at ETH Zurich in the field of Crystallization Process Optimization. For 10 years he worked at Mettler Toledo in the US and in Switzerland leading areas for Calorimetry and Laboratory automation software. Since 2012 Jörg Worlitschek is a full Professor at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences & Arts and holds the chair for Thermal Energy Storage where he focusses with his research team on energy storage assessment, crystallization and heat transfer phenomena.
